This guide shows you how to add a new pack size to a supplier’s product by creating a catalogue item.

Add a new pack size

  1. Navigate to Suppliers from the main menu
  2. Click on the supplier to open their record
  3. Go to the Products tab
  4. Click into the product you want to add a pack size for
  5. Click New Catalogue Item
  6. Enter the details:
    • Volume - the quantity per pack (e.g., 200)
    • Unit of Measure - the unit (e.g., kg, L)
    • Pack Size - the packaging type (e.g., Drum, IBC, Bag)
  7. Click Save

When to use this

Add catalogue items when a supplier offers the same product in different pack sizes. For example, a supplier might sell the same chemical in:
  • 20L drums
  • 200L drums
  • 1000L IBCs
Each of these would be a separate catalogue item under the same supplier product.
