The raw materials sharing feature lets customers grant you controlled access to their sourcing data directly in the platform, giving you the insights you need to make relevant product suggestions while respecting their confidentiality requirements.

Account managers traditionally rely on conversations, observations, or guesswork to understand what materials customers source and in what volumes, making it difficult to identify opportunities systematically. Customers are often hesitant to share detailed sourcing information due to competitive concerns, while account managers struggle to provide relevant suggestions without understanding customer needs. This feature emerged from recognizing that controlled, permission-based sharing creates value for both parties - customers get more relevant suggestions while maintaining control over sensitive information.

Leverage relationships and digital tools to understand your customer better

Customers upload their raw materials list to their profile and choose what to share with specific account managers - they can share just the materials they source, include volume ranges (like <1MT, 1-10MT annually), or grant access to their entire sourcing portfolio. By default, you can see materials they’ve marked as approved, but customers can grant additional access to specific opportunities or their complete list, giving you the visibility needed to identify relevant products from your catalogue.
