# Supplier Contacts

> Manage the people you deal with at each supplier — account managers, logistics contacts, and notification settings.

# Supplier Contacts

Each supplier has people behind it — account managers, logistics coordinators, quality contacts. ChemCloud lets you store contacts against each supplier and control who receives which communications.

## What's Stored Against a Contact

| Field     | Description                                                            |
| --------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Name**  | Contact's full name                                                    |
| **Email** | Email address — used for RFQs, order notifications, and messages       |
| **Role**  | Their role at the supplier (account manager, logistics, quality, etc.) |
| **Phone** | Phone number (optional)                                                |

## Notification Settings

You can control which contacts receive which types of communication from ChemCloud:

| Communication Type    | Description                                                |
| --------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| **RFQs**              | Sourcing requests and quote requests                       |
| **Orders**            | Purchase order confirmations and updates                   |
| **Delivery requests** | Requests for delivery updates or shipping information      |
| **Document requests** | Requests for specifications, SDS, COAs, or other documents |
| **Feedback**          | Non-conformance reports and delivery feedback              |

This means you can route RFQs to the account manager, delivery queries to the logistics contact, and document requests to the quality team — all automatically.

## Managing Contacts

Add, edit, or remove contacts from the supplier profile page. When you add a new contact, set their notification preferences so they receive the right communications from the start.

If a supplier is on the ChemCloud network, they manage their own contact details — but you still control which of their contacts receive your communications.
