> Manually add a quote to a request or create one from scratch

This guide shows you how to add a quote to ChemCloud when you've received one offline - over the phone, in person, or via email outside the platform.

***

## Option 1: Add a quote to an existing request

1. Open the sourcing request you want to add a quote to
2. Click **Add Quote**
3. Choose from your approved materials for this product
4. Enter the availability information:
   * Number of packs
   * Price type (e.g., Ex Stock, Indent, Full Container)
   * Current stock location
5. Enter the pricing information:
   * Price per unit
   * Currency
   * Incoterm
   * Valid-to date
6. Select whether it's a **Spot Purchase** or **Blanket Order**
7. Click **Add Quote**

## Option 2: Create a quote without a request

1. Click the **+** button in the top navigation and select **Quote**
2. Choose whether to add the quote to an existing request or create a new sourcing request
3. Select the product you've received a quote for
4. Choose the product and pack size from your approved materials
5. Enter the quote details (number of packs, price, ETA)
6. Click **Add Quote**

After adding, the quote is available for you and your team to view and compare alongside other quotes.
